My Edge Home Inventory runs on both popular computer platforms. And it looks, feels, runs natively on each of those platforms:
- Macintosh: OS X v10.5 (Leopard) or later, both Power PC and Intel based Macs
- Windows: Windows XP or later
Also, inventories created with My Edge Home Inventory are compatible across platforms. That means that inventories created on a Mac can be read and edited on a PC, and inventories created on a PC can be read and edited on a Mac. The same is true between Power PC based Macs and Intel based Macs. No data conversion step is needed. Just copy the data file and photo folder to the other machine and they are instantly usable on that machine.
